Loving Others and Loving God – JLD

As we stand in prayer for those affected by Hurricane Harvey, we praised and worshipped to Where Feet May Fail… when oceans rise, may our souls rest in our Lord’s embrace. God, keep our eyes above the waves, and let us walk upon the water. Pastor Duane spoke on torah portion Ki Tetze, When You Go Forth, from Deuteronomy 21:10 – 25:19. This section was like the miscellaneous drawer we all have in our kitchen, but the reminder to love God and our neighbor, was so apparent. Then after praise reports all the way from Norway, and prayer for the relief workers, Rabbi Jonathan reminded us of our Mission and Vision. There are many gods and lords, but we worship YHVH God, and He is Echad (One). Let us love Him with all our desires, all our life (we are walking advertisements), and all our might.
